Embed a map on your own website

Team admins All guides

You can embed any published map in your own website with a small snippet. For security, other websites can only embed your maps once you add them to your Embedding allow-list — by default only your own Mapvera pages can.

1. Allow your website

  1. Open the Embedding settings

Sign in, open the menu (top-right), choose Team Settings, then expand Embedding.

Only team admins can change the allow-list.

  2. Add your domain

In Allowed embed domains, list the sites that may embed your maps — one per line — then click Save embedding.

How to write a domain

You want to allowAdd this line
example.comexample.com
A specific subdomainwww.example.com (its own line)
All subdomains*.example.com
Any site not on the list gets a blank frame when it tries to embed your maps. Allow-list changes can take up to 5 minutes to apply worldwide as caches refresh.

2. Grab the embed snippet

  1. Publish the map

Make sure the map is Public so the link works — see Publish, unpublish, and drafts.

  2. Copy the snippet

Open the map in the editor and find its Embed settings. Copy the responsive snippet — it scales to fit whatever container you place it in.

  3. Paste it into your page

Drop the snippet into your website's HTML where you want the map to appear.
