Smoothing in the Wayfinding settings rounds the corners of the drawn route line, so a route looks like a natural walking path rather than a jagged set of straight segments.
What it does
Your path network is made of straight lines between points. Smoothing softens the turns where those lines meet when the route is drawn. Higher values round the corners more; lower values keep them sharper. The default is 5, which suits most maps. You do not need to pre-round corners in your artwork.
When to change it
Turn it up if routes look angular or robotic over flowing, organic artwork.
Turn it down if a rounded line drifts noticeably away from a tight corridor or a sharp turn, so it hugs the path more closely.
Leave the field blank to accept the default of 5. To set it, type a number.
