A landmark can carry three different images, each with its own job: a large Main image on its card, a small Thumbnail in the directory list, and a Logo that replaces the icon and name with one branded lockup. You can set any, all, or none.
The three image fields
| Field | Where it shows | Best size / shape |
|---|---|---|
| Main image | Full-width photo on the landmark's popup card (and its lightbox) | A large landscape photo |
| Thumbnail | The small icon beside the landmark in the directory list, and the round icon on its card | A small square image or logo mark |
| Logo | At the top of the card, replacing BOTH the round icon and the name — one branded lockup | A logo with its own wordmark |
Add an image
-
Open the landmark
In the Landmarks tab, expand the landmark you want to illustrate.
-
Upload or paste a URL
Each of Main image, Thumbnail and Logo has an Upload button — pick a file and it uploads to your team library and fills the field. You can also paste an existing image URL into the field directly.
-
Check the preview
Open the landmark's card in the preview to see the main image and card layout.
Round the main image corners
Tick Round image corners to round the corners of the main image to the same radius as the map's buttons, for a softer look. Leave it off for square corners.
Logo vs. thumbnail
These two are easy to mix up:
| Set the Thumbnail when | Set the Logo when |
|---|---|
| You want a small icon next to the name in the list, keeping the name visible | You want the card's icon and name replaced by a single branded image (a full logo lockup) |
