A guided tour is a ready-made walking route across a map. When you open a tour link or scan a tour QR code, the map opens with the whole journey loaded for you: a start, a series of stops in order, and a final destination.

Tap a guided tour link, or point your phone camera at a tour QR code on a sign or handout, and open it.

Let the map load
The map opens with the full route already in place. You do not have to pick a start or destination yourself, the tour has done that for you.

Follow the line
A route draws from the start to the first stop. Walk it, then carry on along the line to the next stop, and so on to the final destination.
While you are on the tour
You can still pan and zoom the map to get your bearings, and open any place along the way to read about it. The tour route stays in place while you look around. For the basics of moving around a map, see Get around a map.
