When a place has a 360 photo, its card does not just show a flat picture. You can drag to look around in every direction, as if you were standing there. It is a great way to see what a spot really looks like before you set off.
Find a 360 photo
Open any place to see its card. If that place has a 360 photo, the picture at the top of the card shows a small 360 badge in the corner. That badge is your cue that you can look around, not just view a still image.
Look around
-
Open the place
Tap the place on the map, or in the list, to open its card.
-
Drag inside the photo
Press and drag on the photo to turn and look around. Drag left or right to spin, up or down to look at the ceiling or the floor.
-
Explore the whole scene
Keep dragging to see the full surroundings. The view wraps all the way around, so you can face any direction.
Getting there next
Once you have had a look around, you can head straight for the place. See Get directions to a place.
