Mapvera lets people sign in with Google, Microsoft, or an email and password. As a team admin you can limit which of those can open your team, so everyone signs in the way your organisation requires.
Restrict the sign-in methods
-
Open Team Settings
Sign in, click the menu (top-right), and choose Team Settings.
Only team admins can open Team Settings.
-
Expand Allowed sign-in methods
Open the Allowed sign-in methods section.
-
Tick the methods you allow
Tick any of Google, Microsoft and Email & password. Leave all three ticked for no restriction.
-
Save
Click Save. The rule takes effect straight away.
What happens to someone using a blocked method
Anyone signed in with a method you have not ticked can still log in to Mapvera, but they cannot open this team. They are asked to sign out and back in with an allowed method. Nothing is deleted and their account is untouched.
If a sign-in button fails for your staff
Restricting the method does not grant it. If your organisation blocks new apps, the Google or Microsoft button can fail with an approval message for your company's email addresses. The same section has one-click steps to Approve Mapvera for Microsoft and to mark Mapvera Trusted in Google. For the full picture, see Enterprise single sign-on safeguards.
